3 Month Old Supermodel

Campbell had her first photo shoot at the beginning of July for her 3 month pictures. Mitch's friend, Scot, was the photographer and he took over 200 photos. I had a hard time deciding which were my favorites - here's just a few. I have decided that since Campbell has a little red in her hair, pink is not her color. Unfortunately, if I don't dress her in pink now, people think she's a boy. But, in the future, we won't be doing any formal photo shoots in pink. ;-)

A Girl and Her Dog

When I married Mitch, I acquired a step-dog - Rudy. I was a little worried about having a baby in the house with a pitbull - especially since it seems like there are always stories on the news about pitbulls eating small children, and big adults for that matter. But, Rudy is the antithesis of a pitbull - he's afraid of the spin cycle on the wash machine and the vaccum makes him run and hide. If anything, he's more terrified of Campbell than she ever will be of him.

Earthquake Survivor

Campbell experienced her first earthquake this past Tuesday at the ripe old age of 3 1/2 months. I've lived in CA for almost 10 years and this was my first earthquake too. Fortunately, Mitch was home when it happened. At the first little shake, I thought to myself, "What the heck is Mitch doing to shake the house -jumping off the furniture?" But, then I heard him say, "Hold on" and the bigger shake came. It wasn't enough to knock anything off the shelves, but big enough to make me hope that I never experience a more powerful earthquake.
